The following information is helpful for software developers who want to automate management of domain portfolios within ironDNS^®. These are typically domain registrars or resellers.

In addition to the REST API ironDNS^® also offers the possibility to manager your zones via a SOAP API. The SOAP documentation can be found right next to this.

The “REST API Documentation” describes the REST programming interface in detail. It contains the definition of all endpoints and defines all possible request parameters. For each request there is also an example provided.

Sandbox for grown-ups

A so-called sandbox system is available for testing by potential customers. Access can easily be requested and is free of charge.
